Manual

The origins of this Château date back to the 18th century when a noble family of Irish origin acquired land in the commune of Les Eglisottes to settle one of their members, Richard O'Byrne, the vicar of the Saint Pierre de l'Etoile church in this village, and the parish priest of the church in Chamadelle in the neighboring canton. The cultivation of vineyards has been practiced since the 18th century, and in the 19th century, the wine was known as "Nord Saint-Émilion."
